Terms and conditions
Party duration is 2 hours (1.5 hours for 4-6 year olds) (An additional charge of £3.00 per child may be made if party runs over time).
The party organiser is welcome to arrive up to a maximum of 10 mins early.
Party times are Saturdays 11.00am to 1.00pm or 2.00pm to 4.00pm or Sundays 11.00am to 1.00pm or 2.00pm to 4.00pm, and during school holidays.
Minimum number of children is 6 up to a maximum of 32. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking together with a completed booking form and signed Terms and Conditions. Final balance and numbers due 1 week prior to the party. Once final payment is paid no refund is available. Party may be rescheduled on a given notice of 2 weeks prior to the original booking.
Due to the attention span of younger children, parties for children age 4-6 will be for 1.5 hours. If the party runs over, parents will not mind waiting and will be on hand to take the children.
Parental supervision is required. Please ensure you have enough helpers to look after your group. Our staff will instruct the children on how things work and will be on hand to give help and advice throughout, but do not run the party. (The party organiser is responsible for the children while they are in the studio). Guests may only choose one item from the party selection (subject to availability). Any breakages will be charged for .
Children paint for up to 1 ¼ hours, we then clear up and wipe the tables for the party organiser to then pass out the food, which must be in individual party bags/boxes or already laid on individual plates covered in cling film. No buffets. We will supply each child with a soft drink (included in party package). Alternatively you may wish to order in McDonalds, Pizza or one of the other take-away options close to the studio.
Food and drink will be consumed after painting has finished, as sticky or greasy fingers will make marks on the pottery which may affect the glazing.
Party Organisers are requested to take their rubbish away with them after the party.
No alcohol will be allowed in the studio during the daytime or where children are present .Evening parties a corkage fee of £1.00 per bottle will be charged for every bottle of alcohol consumed, regardless of volume or units.
All products used are non-toxic and will wash easily out of fabrics. It is not a dirty or dangerous activity and therefore Create Inn is not liable for any loss or damage to an individual’s property.
Glazed pottery will be returned within approximately 1 week of the party day. Any pottery not collected within 6 months, will be given to the local charity shop.
Signed terms and conditions must be returned before party can proceed.
